I am a native of Gilbert, Arizona. I attended Arizona State University, where I earned my degree in Elementary Education. I’m a wife, mother of five, grandma, speaker, podcaster, author, travel junkie, dreamer, and life coach. Mmy passion is liberating and empowering others.
Throughout my childhood, I experienced horrific sexual abuse. For decades, I let this trauma define me, degrade me, and derail my attempts to live a fulfilled life. However, as I broke free from my limiting beliefs, I was able to not only face my perpetrator, but help put him in prison for over 400 years.
I know what it is to live in shame. I know what it is to live without hope. But I also know how it feels to dig yourself out of despair and live life on your own terms. And now, I want to hand you the shovel.
My mission is to help others experience healing and happiness. I have tested and refined The Dig model to create a process that is powerful, validating, and transformative. Unlike traditional therapy, The Dig helps you learn techniques, build habits, and establish strategies that will benefit you (and those you love) for the rest of your life.
I offer one-on-one sessions, but my primary focus is on The Dig training, which helps people go from stuck to unstoppable. Those who complete the training may also become certified Dig Specialists, who are qualified to guide and coach others on their healing journeys.
My Let it Glow retreats are relaxing getaways that help women recharge their bodies, expand their minds, and renew their spirits. I’ve hosted retreats in France, California, Oregon, Texas, and at our family ranch in the mountains. These carefully planned events offer a full schedule of meaningful instruction, rich conversations, time for reflection, activities in nature, and of course, exceptional, gourmet meals.
Much of my focus is on philanthropic and volunteer efforts. I have organized community support to combat human trafficking, domestic abuse, and LGBTQ discrimination. As a survivor myself, I make it a priority to stand as an advocate for anyone who has been affected by trauma.
HI, I'M JENNIFER NIELSON, FOUNDER OF THE DIG AND LET IT GLOW
